Surface: uneven, lower in centre than sides, large bowlders [sic] protruding 1 ft. material: dirt and stones sides: right, slopes up, left, slopes up 2 ft. then down gutters: right, none, left, none sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A very bad road indeed. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
