Templeton 188 --Caption title. Width of road: 30 ft. Traveled way: width 24 ft., grade 3 ft. per 100. Surface: crowned 6 in., fairly hard, a little loose gravel 1 in. deep material: gravel sides: right, slopes down to gutter, then up, left, slopes down to gutter, then up gutters: right, 16 in. deep, left, 2 ft. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Road is in good condition, except for loose material on surface. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
