Horse track worn down material: shells on loam base sides: right, loamy, slopes down to gutter, left, loamy, slopes down to gutter gutters: right, 1 ft.. deep, left, 1 ft. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A smooth road for light travel. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
