Surface: flat, soft, loose sand and gravel, ruts 4 in. deep material: sand and gravel sides: right, slopes down to gutter, then up, left, slopes up from edge of travelled way gutters: right, 10 in. deep, left, none sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: A very poor road. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
