Surface: crowned 5 in., hard and fairly smooth material: gravel with a little sand sides: right, slopes up to sidewalk, left, level for 6 ft. then slopes up gutters: right, 10 in. deep, left, 3 in. deep sidewalks: right, 8 ft. wide, 9 in. above gutter, left, none. Remarks: A good road. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
