Surface: crowned 5 in., hard and smooth, in fine condition material: shells sides: right, level with gutter, left, level with gutter gutters: right, 6 in. deep, left, 1 ft. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, none. Remarks: An excellent specimen of a shell road. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
