Surface: crowned 6 in., muddy material: gravel, worn out sides: right, slopes down to gutter then up, left, slopes down to gutter then up gutters: right, 6 in. deep, left, 6 in. deep sidewalks: right, 2 ft. wide, 8 in. above gutter, left, 2 ft. wide, 9 in. above gutter. Remarks: Road would be good if it was not for mud. Width of travelled way includes car track. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
