Surface: crowned 5 in., soft and uneven, slopes to left material: gravel with some loose sand and stones sides: right, natural slope up, left, slopes up to sidewalk gutters: right, 7 in. deep, left, 3 in. deep sidewalks: right, none, left, 12 ft. wide, 3 in. above gutter. Remarks: road in poor condition. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
