Surface: flat, uneven, two wheel ruts 1 ft. deep, rut in centre for horse 8 in. deep material: turf and sand, gravel in ruts sides: right, level, left, level gutters: right, none, left, none: right, none, left, none. Remarks: Travelled way consists of ruts above named in the turf. Road is poor. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
