Abstract
"The goal of this project is to reduce the impact of phosphorus on Quacumquasit Pond and to restore it through alum application and education of local residents. The project has significantly reduced internal phosphorus loading to achieve the TMDL goal for phosphorus and protect the pond from further water quality degradation due to internal recycling of nutrients."--Descriptive project summary.
