Abstract
"[T]his model policy provides for: (1) the designation of a contact person or persons to be notified of the presence of, or information requests from law enforcement officers engaged in civil law enforcement; (2) the designation of nonpublic areas (where civil arrests would be prohibited, without a Judicial Warrant or Judicial Order) in covered care service sites; (3) procedures for informing staff and volunteers on how to respond to requests relating to civil law enforcement, and (4) other information DPH, DMH, and DDS deem relevant to covered care providers."--Paragraph 2.
