1956 House Bill 2800. An Act Providing For The Construction Of An Additional Vehicular Crossing Between Boston Proper And East Boston; Creating The Massachusetts Port Authority And Defining Its Powers And Duties; Providing For The Issuance Of Revenue Bonds Of The Authority, Payable Solely From Tolls And Other Revenues, For Financing Such Additional Crossing, Refinancing The Existing Tunnel And The Mystic River Bridge And Refinancing And Improving The State-Owned Airports And Port Of Boston Facilities; And Providing For The Transfer To Said Authority Of Said Existing Tunnel, Bridge, Airports And Port Facilities.
