1978 House Bill 3681. An Act To Require Uniform Policies Of The Telephone Companies, Electric Companies, And Gas Companies And To Further Require Said Companies To File Annually With The Department Of Public Utilities On Or Before January One Of Each Year All Effected Proposed Policies Regarding Those Uniform Policies That Effect Customers On The Basis Of Sex, Race Or Geographic Locations In Rate Setting, Security Deposit Requirements, Credit And Bill Payments, Installation Charges And Procedures, Tariffs, Shut-Offs Or Any Other Actions. Department Of Public Utilities Must Hold Hearings Within Ninety Days Of Notification By Said Utility Companies For Any Changes On Rate Setting, Security Deposits Requirements, Credits And Bill Payments, Installation Charges And Procedures, Tariffs, Shut-Offs Or Any Other Actions.
