Chap. 365. An Act relative to special police officers appointed on application of the commissioner of traffic and parking of the city of boston. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. Section 3 of chapter 282 of the acts of 1898, as amended by chapter 674 of the acts of 1950, is hereby further amended by inserting before the last sentence the following sentence: — Every special Acts, 1965. — Chaps. 366, 367. 195 police officer appointed under the provisions of this act upon the written application of the commissioner of traffic and parking of said city shall have all the powers and duties of a police officer, including those conferred or imposed by section twenty C of chapter ninety of the General Laws, to enforce all laws, rules and regulations regulating, directing, controlling or restricting the stopping or standing of vehicles at meters in public ways and in off-street parking areas and facilities deemed to be ways under the control of the city. Section 2. Section 5 of chapter 31 of the General Laws, as most recently amended by chapter 31 of the acts of 1965, is hereby further amended by inserting after the word "schools", in line 27, the words: — ; parking meter supervisors.
