Chap. 0053 An Act to alter the Times of holding certain Terms of the Court of Common Pleas for the County of Hampden. BE it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, as follows : Sect. 1. There shall be a term of the court of common pleas, within and for the county of Hampden, respectively, on the second Monday of March, and the first Monday of October annually, instead of the second Mondays of February and October, as now provided by law. Sect. 2. So much of the fortieth section of the eighty-second chapter of the Revised Statutes, and of the act passed March sixteenth, one thousand eight hundred and forty-four, entitled, " An act to alter the Times of holding the Terms of the Court of Common Pleas for the county of Hampden," as is inconsistent with this art, is hereby repealed. Sect. 3. This act shall take effect from and after its passage. [Approved by the Governor, March 23, 1849.]
