Chap. 0208 An Act to authorize the town of hopkinton to make an additional water loan.

Be it enacted, etc., as follows:

Section 1. The town of Hopkinton, for the purposes mentioned in section two of chapter one hundred eighty-three of the acts of the year eighteen hundred eighty-two, may issue notes, bonds or scrip to be denominated on the face thereof, Hopkinton "Water Loan, to an amount not exceeding twenty-five thousand dollars in addition to the amount heretofore authorized by law to be issued by said town for the same purposes ; said notes, bonds or scrip to be issued upon the same terms and conditions and with the same powers as are provided in said act for the issue of the Hopkinton water loan by said town -.provided, that the whole amount of such notes, bonds or scrip issued b}r said town, together with those heretofore issued by said town for the same purposes, shall not in any event exceed the amount of seventy-five thousand dollars.
Section 2.   This act shall take effect upon its passage.
