Chap. 585. An Act authorizing the city of Springfield to appropriate CERTAIN FUNDS PREVIOUSLY RAISED BY BOND ISSUE, FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF FILTER BEDS. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. Notwithstanding the provisions of section twenty of chapter forty-four of the General Laws, the city of Springfield may, for the purpose of the construction of filter beds, by a two-thirds vote of all the members of the city council, appropriate sums, not exceeding two 488 Acts, 1964. — Chaps. 586, 587. hundred and ninety-seven thousand eight hundred eighty-nine dollars and sixty-six cents, in the aggregate, from the proceeds of a loan issued July first, nineteen hundred and sixty, under authority of chapter three hundred and twenty of the acts of nineteen hundred and sixty, which proceeds are not presently necessary for the purposes specified in the authorization of said loan. Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved June 23, 1964-
