Chap. 0479 An Act to require the furnishing of seats for elevator men. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. All elevators used for the carriage of passengers shall be provided with a suitable seat for the operator in charge of the same. Section 2. Failure to comply with the provisions of this act shall be punished by a fine not exceeding twenty dollars for each offence. Section 3. This act shall be enforced by the inspectors of factories and public buildings of the district police. Approved April 12, 1912.
