Chap. 630.           AN ACT AUTHORIZING THE TOWN OF WESTPORT

TO ISSUE AN ADDITIONAL LICENSE FOR THE SALE OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES NOT TO BE DRUNK ON THE PREMISES .

Be it enacted,   etc.,  as follows:

Notwithstanding the provisions of section seventeen of chapter one hundred and thirty-eight of the General Laws, the licensing authority of the town of Westport is hereby authorized to issue to Antone Pavao d/b/a State Road Package Store, a license for the sale of all alcoholic beverages not to be drunk on the premises under the provisions of section fifteen of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight. Said license shall be subject to all the provisions of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight except section seventeen; provided, however, that said licensing authority shall not approve the transfer of said license within one year after the date of issuance by said authority; and provided, further, that the number of licenses for the sale of wine and malt beverages not to be drunk on the premises authorized for said town to issue under the provisions of said section seventeen of said chapter one hundred and thirty-eight shall be reduced by one such license.
