Chap. 142. An Act authorizing the towns of berlin and boylston TO APPROPRIATE FUNDS FROM THEIR STABILIZATION FUNDS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF A NEW SCHOOL BUILDING BY BERLIN-BOYLSTON REGIONAL SCHOOL DISTRICT. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. Notwithstanding any contrary provisions of section five B of chapter forty of the General Laws, the town of Berlin and the town of Boylston is each authorized to appropriate, by a two-thirds vote, at a special town meeting called for the purpose and to be held during the current year, from their respective stabilization funds a sum or sums to be applied to the construction of a new school building by the Berlin-Boylston regional school district. Section 2. Any appropriation voted pursuant to the authority contained in section one of this act by either of said towns shall be as valid and effective as though this act were in full force and effect at the time of the posting of the warrant for said meeting. Section 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved March 2, 1961.
