Chap. 449.   An Act authorizing the city of westfield to pay an
ANNUITY   TO   THE   WIDOW   OF   HAROLD   WHITTEMORE,   THE FORMER CITY CLERK OF SAID CITY.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
Section 1. For the purpose of promoting the public good, the city of Westfield is hereby authorized to appropriate and pay to Dessie M. Whittemore, widow of Harold Whittemore, the former city clerk of said city, so long as she remains unmarried, an annuity in the sum of twelve hundred dollars to be paid in equal monthly instalments.
Section 2. This act shall take effect upon its acceptance by the city of Westfield.                                            Approved June 16, 1970.
