Chap. 0001 An Act concerning the appointment of Appraisers in Civil Process.

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives, in General Court asseinbled, and by the authority of the same, as follows :

Sect. 1. The act entitled " An Act concerning the appointment of Appraisers in Civil Process," approved May 24th, 1S51, is hereby repealed.

Sect. 2. No appraisement made since the said act took effect shall be invalid for want of conformity to the provisions thereof: provided, the same were made in conformity to the provisions of law existing previously to the passage of said act.

Sect. 3. Wherever appraisers are appointed by virtue of the provisions of law relating to any civil process in the hands of any ollicer authorized to serve the same, such appraisers may be sworn by said olfieer.

Sect. 4. This act shall take effect from and after its passage.   [Approved by the Governor, January 23, 1852.]
