Chap. 0265 An Act validating certain acts and proceedings of the town of truro and of its officers. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. All town elections and meetings in the town of Truro and all other acts and proceedings of said town and of its officers heretofore held, so far as said elections, meetings, acts or proceedings were invalid by reason of the failure of the town legally to call and give notice of its annual town elections and its annual and special meetings, or any of them, in accordance with a vote or by-law of the town or with section ten of chapter thirty-nine of the General Laws, or corresponding provisions of earlier laws, are hereby validated and confirmed. Section 2. No town election or meeting in said town in the current year or the year nineteen hundred and thirty-six, if called and notified in the same manner as elections and meetings hereby validated and confirmed, and no action taken thereat, shall be invalid by reason of the failure of the town legally to call and give notice of such election or meeting in accordance with said vote or by-law or with said seetion ten of chapter thirty-nine. Section 3. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved May 17, 1985.
