Chap. 0012 An Act to change the name of the trustees of the memorial hospital in Worcester. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. The Trustees of the Memorial Hospital, incorporated by chapter eighty-seven of the acts of the year eighteen hundred and seventy-one, shall hereafter be called and known as The Memorial Hospital, and in that name shall continue to hold, possess and use all the property, and be entitled to all the rights, powers and franchises of said corporation, and be subject to all its duties and obligations in the same manner and to the same extent as if this act had not been passed. Section 2. All the officers of said corporation shall continue to hold and exercise the powers and duties of their respective offices in the same manner they would or could have done had not the name of said corporation been changed. Section 3. Nothing contained in this act shall be construed as a surrender or forfeiture of any of the property or rights of property, or any of the powers, privileges or rights of said corporation. Section 4. This act shall take effect upon its passage. Approved February 12, 1891.
