Chap. 0004 An Act in addition to an Act, entitled An Act to incorporate the Proprietors of the Branch Church in Salem, in the County of Essex.

Sec. 1. Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives in General Court assembled, and by the authority of the same, That the corporation aforesaid, shall, from and after the passing of this Act, be known and called by the name of "The first Presbyterian Church in Salem," any thing in the said Act, to which this Act is in addition, to the contrary notwithstanding.

Sec. 2. Be it further enacted, That said Corporation shall be, and hereby are vested with, and entitled to all the powers, privileges, rights and immunities, under their said corporate name of "The First Presbyterian Church in Salem," and shall also be subject to all the duties and liabilities to which they are entitled and subject by the said Act to which this Act is in addition.
