Chap. 518. An Act authorizing the department of public works to transfer portions of certain state highways to the metropolitan district commission.
Be it enacted, etc., as follows:
The department of public works is hereby authorized to transfer to the metropolitan district commission the following portions of state highways:
(1) In the city of Medford, roadways connecting or adjacent to interstate highway 1-93 commonly referred to as ramps A, B, C, D, E and J and that portion of relocated Mystic Valley parkway which connects Main street with the Mystic Valley parkway connection, Mystic avenue and Harvard street intersection.

(2) In the city of Medford and the town of Stoneham, roadways or portions thereof, taken from the metropolitan district commission by the department of public works for the purpose of construction of interstate highway 1-93.
Upon such transfer said commission shall hold and manage said portions so transferred as provided in section thirty-five of chapter ninety-two of the General Laws, subject, however, to terms and conditions of traffic control agreements promulgated pursuant to requirements of Title 23, United States Code.
