Chap.  48.           AN    ACT    EXEMPTING    ALL    POSITIONS    IN    THE

POLICE DEPARTMENT OF THE TOWN OF WEST BOYLSTON FROM THE PROVISIONS OF THE CIVIL SERVICE LAW.

Be  it enacted,   etc.,   as  follows:

SECTION 1. All pos4^ions in the full-time police department and the so-called part-tnrie^ police department in the town of West Boylston shall be exempt trom the provisions of chapter thirty-one of the General Laws.

SECTION 2. The provisions of section one shall not impair the civil service status of any person who presently holds a position in the police department in said town.

SECTION 3.     This act shall take effect upon its passage.
