Chap. 0252 An Act relative to medical milk commissions. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: Section 1. Section twenty of chapter one hundred and eighty of the General Laws is hereby amended by adding at the end thereof the words: - At least one member of said board of health shall be a member of the board of directors thereof, - so as to read as follows: - Section 20. For the purpose of supervising the production of milk, any five or more registered physicians may form a corporation under this chapter. The mem- ' bers of the board of health of any town where such corporation is formed shall be ex officiis members of the corporation. At least one member of said board of health shall be a member of the board of directors thereof. Section 2. Section twenty-three of said chapter one hun- , dred and eighty is hereby amended by inserting after the word "however," in the fourth line the words: - shall be approved by the department of public health and, - so as to read as fol- lows: - Section 23. Every such corporation may enter into written agreements with any dairymen for the production of milk under the supervision of such corporation and prescribe in such agreements the conditions under which such milk shall be produced, which, however, shall be approved by the department of public health and shall not fall below the standards of purity and quality for certified milk as fixed by the American Association of Medical Milk Commissions and the standards for milk fixed by law.
