Chap. 442. An Act increasing the amount of the retirement ALLOWANCE PAYABLE UNDER THE STATE-BOSTON RETIREMENT SYSTEM TO VICTOR STASHEWSKY BECAUSE OF INJURIES SUSTAINED IN LINE OF DUTY AS A POLICE OFFICER OF THE CITY OF BOSTON. Be it enacted, etc., as follows: For the purpose of promoting the public good, the accidental disability retirement allowance payable under section seven of chapter thirty-two of the General Laws to Victor Stashewsky, who is totally and permanently incapacitated as a result of injuries sustained by him when shot on July fourteenth, nineteen hundred and sixty-four, while making an arrest in the performance of his duty as a police officer of the city of Boston, shall include such yearly amount of additional pension as will make such retirement allowance from and after the effective date of this act at all times equal to the annual rate of regular compensation which would have been payable to him by said city had he continued in service in the grade held by him at the time of his retirement, anything in paragraph (c) of subdivision (2) of said section seven to the contrary notwithstanding. The provisions of section one hundred B of chapter forty-one of the General Laws shall apply to said Victor Stashewsky as if a person retired under a special law applicable to one person were not excepted therefrom. • .._• Approved June 25,1968.
