1960 House Bill 2053. Proposal For A Legislative Amendment To The Constitution Providing That Revenue From Fees, Duties, Excise Or License Taxes Relating To Registration, Operation Or Use Of Vehicles On Public Highways, Or To Fuels Used For Propelling Such Vehicles, Except Revenue From An Excise Tax Imposed In Lieu Of Local Property Taxes For The Privilege Of Registering Such Vehicles, Shall Be To Pay Fifty Per Cent Of The Deficit Of The Metropolitan Transit Authority.
