Surface: crowned 6 in., muddy material: gravel, wornout [sic] sides: right, slopes down to gutter then up, left, slopes down to gutter then up gutters: right, 6 in. deep, left, 6 in. deep sidewalks: right, 2 ft. wide, 8 in. above gutter, left, 2 ft. wide, 9 in. above gutter. Remarks: Taken after a night's rain, shows mud holes full of water, lacks underdrainage. Photograph accompanies the Report of the Commission to Improve the Highways of the Commonwealth, 1893.
